It's always great when things go according to plan. You go into a shoot knowing exactly what the weather is going to be like, how you're going to capture certain images, and everything will just fall right into place. We planned to shoot Erika and Israel's engagement photos on a Sunday evening, however the forecast called for rain starting at noon. We decided to rush to Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven in the morning to get some photos in before the rain started, and it was looking pretty grim when we left our house with tons of rain clouds and some drizzling. Cut to 20 minutes later, we get to the park and its bright, sunny, and no rain to be found. Instead we found ourselves trying to battle harsh midday sun, but luckily we had some tricks up our sleeves to still capture some awesome photographs. Enjoy some photos from their amazing engagement shoot!
