Okay. We are officially tired of all this snow. We have been holding our Summer wedding photos hostage in order to post them during the coldest months of the year, in the hopes to bring warmer weather. We will be releasing new blogs every week in direct protest of the 20 degree weather. You can all thank us in a few weeks when you're laying out on the beach in the middle of March!
Our first warm-weather-wedding is from the Waterview. We had the pleasure to photograph and film Gabby and Liz as they said their vows and celebrated at one of our favorite venues. The day started off with a first look at the picturesque Southbury Falls under the iconic red covered bridge.
Can we just pause for a moment and say how much we love doing first looks? Its definitely one of our favorite new trends. You see your partner every day, but on your wedding day, all dressed up, there is something special and magical about turning around and seeing the person you are about to spend the rest of your life with.
On to the ceremony! We were battling rain in the morning but the skies cleared up and a last minute decision was made to have the ceremony outside. It was the absolute correct decision because the view is always spectacular overlooking the water. Gabby and Liz said their I Do's and the party was underway. The cake cutting got pretty physical - icing was flying everywhere and the majority of it landed on their faces. All in good fun though!
We were sad to sad goodbye at the end of the night but it truly was a day to remember. We want to thank Gabby and Liz again for everything and we wish them both the best!
